Recording a new album… right now

Very big news here, fella!. Last Monday, 5th March, Whirlwind Storm started recording our long awaited new album at MTX Studios, sited in Las Bayas (Elche). Cryptically codenamed as “New Album”, the successor of “Inside the Dark Void” will be released later in the year, and promises to be bigger, faster and headcrusher than the first one.

Wolfest!

We’ll be playing next Sunday 18th December at Wolfest, the world famous novel bands contest, sponsored by Myspace, Yamaha, Orange and Sennheiser, among others.

The ticket price is 10 €, and you’ll have to contact any of us (or email, info@whirlwindstorm.com) to purchase one, two, or 666 tickets.

The event will take place at Sala The One (Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Alicante), C/ Bronce nº 8. Doors opening: 18:00 h.

11-11-11, The number of the Storm

Take note of these sequence: 11-11-11. Or, if you prefer, 11th November, 2011. That day Whirlwind Storm will spread their metal disease, in a brand new, 3-day metal/rock festival cryptically titled as “A Grito Pelao!!“, organized by El Tributo and Reanimator.

The event will take place at Sala Stereo (C/ Pintor Velázquez, 5), and the schedule (not officially confirmed, subject to last minute changes) will be as follows:

22:00 – Opening doors
22:30 – Storm
23:30 – Drueida
00:30 – Whirlwind Storm

Tickets costs 5 € anticipated (can be purchased at Pub El Tributo (C/ Capitán Segarra, 43 – Alicante) and at Cafe Pub Amagats (C/ Rio Ebro , 6 – Monóvar)) or the day of the show, at the concert’s venue.

Ladies and gentleman, dear folks and friends, we are proud to announce that we’ll be part of this year’s Alacant Rock Festival. The event will take place next friday, 22th July, at a famous place of Alicante called “Auditorio de la Concha de la Explanada”, located on the Explanda itself.

As announced a few weeks ago, we’ll be playing next saturday, 22th January, with our friends Dagorlath and Efímero at Sala Stereo, located on C/ Velázquez nº 5 (behind Mercado Central), Alicante.

Tickets cost 5 €, anticipated (can be purchased at Fnac) or the day of the show, at the concert’s venue.

This is the schedule, please keep in mind that there may be last minute changes, and are indicative exclusively:

Whirlwind Storm starts 2011 crushing heads and spreading the storm. A new concert date has been added to the “Live Dates” section of the web.
